I am a Spanish - English Interpreter based in New Delhi with many years experience of working in different fora. I love travelling and would like to help by volunteering with my skills.

I'm a British student in translation, looking forward to contributing to the work of NGOs such as ICV. Really interested in international development and the languages, cultures and history of different countries.

I am an Electrical Engineer, built my career in software industry. In my 9 years professional experience, I have gained extensive experience in all aspects of software engineering. I had the opportunity to perform various activities like gathering requirements, converting business requirement into system requirement, designing and developing the IT systems, developing data models and providing good database solutions, documentation and QA (including testing, configuration management and release management) activities for big projects. Being involved with the IT industry gave me exposure and insight into the management and operational issues. In my varied experiences, I had worked with MNCs and National Companies. During my previous assignments, I had worked as a software support person and resolved user’s technical issues within SLA and received good customer feedback. I also worked in the capacity of a consultant in Government and NGO sectors. I have hands on experience in designing and developing client model IT systems using Oracle Developer and VB as front end and databases such as Oracle and Sql server as back end. Currently I am acquiring knowledge in web technologies like HTML, PHP, Wordpress, Dream weaver etc. I am self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment. I am passionate working in human development sector . I have experience in working multi culture environments and associated with clients in different parts of the world. I am currently looking for a voluntary IT position (part time) and enhance my knowledge in Web technologies.
